This lxury Villa is one of the most prestigious Hotels de Charme in the entire Mediterranean. Its vibrant atmosphere and the awe-inspiring beauty of the location have attracted famous politicians and aristocrats, as well as inspiring many artists and making it a meeting place for English people on the Amalfi Coast, including the famous Bloomsbury Group from London. The current complex at the Villa, consisting of the main building and the centuries-old six hectare park, is universally recognized as one of the most important sites – in landscaping and botanical terms – produced by the English romantic culture in the Mediterranean area in the late 19th and early 20th century, along with the Hanbury Botanical Gardens and Russell Page’s “La Mortella” on Ischia.
ACCOMMODATIONS
There is a selection of just nineteen rooms for our demanding, privileged guests. They are embellished with antique Vietri ceramic flooring and stone or majolica fireplaces. Some have frescoed ceilings. Understated elegance is a common feature in the otherwise unique rooms. It is also what makes it one of the most exclusive locations in the world.
WEDDINGS
The glorious gardens and refined rooms of the Villa make it a unique, elegant location and the ideal backdrop for couples declaring their eternal love for each other.
Here it is possible to organize symbolic or religious ceremonies, including Protestant and Jewish marriages or Waldensian ones with legal validity, though Catholic and civil services are not available.
Great care is taken over the food. The delicious traditional dishes of Campania are made using fresh organic ingredients from the gardens of the Villa. Fine wines to complement the cuisine are expertly chosen by our sommeliers from a well-stocked cellar.
