On the border between Tuscany and Umbria, a few steps from the old town of Città della Pieve, the Resort collects all the charm of a region beloved for its nature, history and traditions. It raises on a hill that dominates the Val di Chiana Region, with Montepulciano, Pienza and Trasimeno Lake from which it is 24 km far. The Villa dates back to the XVIII century and has been turned into a Luxury Hotel at the end of 90s. The elegant lines of the façade invite to its noble origins and its exceptional location promotes Relaxation and Harmony with Nature. Nestled in 3 acres of a Secular Park and surrounded by a traditional Italian-style Garden adorned with luxuriant white roses and small fountains with relaxing water tricks, it is the perfect trend-d'union between the charm of history and the enchanting landscape which inspired Leonardo da Vinci and Pietro Perugino.
The Resort is nestled in 3 hectares of a Secular Park where Oaks and Pine Trees stand out and it is surrounded by an Italian-style Garden where the labyrinth designed with box hedges is adorned with white, pink and red rose beds that in spring fill the air with their perfume. Mushrooms of rare origin can be seen in the undergrowth following our parcours in relaxing walks and jogging. Aromatic grass surrounds the area beneath the outdoor swimming pool, with Rosemary, Lavender and the small corner where our chef grows herbs to flavor his dishes.
The Strawberry Trees, Pomegranate and the Olive Trees from which we derive a few precious bottles of bio olive oil always offer new insights to our imagination.
Accommodations
Various room types, each different from the other for color, light and comfort. Sound-proof floor or in Assisi stone paving, large bathrooms with double washbasin, comfortable beds in hypoallergenic tissue. Each room enjoys its unique view, but for garden rooms from which you can access directly to the Park, in company of your affectionate pet or breathing the uncontaminated air of our countryside.
