The Hotel is situated in one of the most panoramic spots on the western branch of Lake Como, midway between the jet-set destination of Cernobbio and the vibrant city of Como, just a few minutes by car from the Como Nord exit on the A9 highway. Directly overlooking the lake, it was built in the 19th century as the private residence of the nobleman Marchese Raimondi, and was the site of his daughter’s short-lived marriage to the hero of Italian unification, General Giuseppe Garibaldi, in 1860. It was transformed into a hotel in 1958, then partially modernized in 1992. Now, having just recently undergone a complete refitting and restyling, It stands proudly and elegantly as an absolutely unique destination on the international hospitality scene. The physical plant is completely new, with special attention to energy savings and low emissions. The subdivision of the spaces, while respecting the original structure, has opened up new panoramic views that turn a simple stroll through the villa into a series of continuous visual surprises. Moreover, the conversion of the attic floor made it possible to create a restful and secluded spa and fitness area.

Your wedding reception will be hosted in the renowned hotels restaurant, a sumptuous formal dining room with recently restored 19th-century furnishings, with ample windows looking out onto the garden and lake.
The subtle colors of the damask wall coverings, the elegant motif of the carpeting, the classical moldings of the columns create a warm and inviting atmosphere that harmonizes splendidly with the always-breathtaking view of Lake Como. The round tables, upholstered chairs and precious china, silver and crystal tableware add to the pleasure of a fine meal. The stylishly furnished patio makes it possible to dine outdoors during the warmer seasons, where the fresh breeze and unique landscape turn a romantic dinner into an unforgettable one. The restaurant can also be accessed from the lake, thanks to the hotel’s private dock.
The wedding menu is fresh, refined and international. But that doesn’t mean the chef forgets he’s in Lombardy, and as such proposes traditional regional dishes like our famous risotto with lake perch, revisited according the current demand for light, healthful food. More specifically, the menu always features dishes dedicated to Lake Como and its local products, from leveret, a delicate whitefish native to European mountain lakes, to the fresh cheeses of the valleys and herbs of the hills surrounding Como. The hotel offers its guests 52 rooms, one of which is a Junior Suite. All rooms have an enveloping charm and an uncommon comfort. Each room has its own exclusive beauty.
