Hotel Lake Maggiore 2 is a late eighteenth-century villa situated in the magnificent setting of the small, sunny bay of Colmegna, nestled by the lake about 2 km from Luino, with an ancient park covering over 2,5 acres (1 ha), a beach, a 200-m lakeside walk, romantic paths, a conservatory, a small harbor, buoys, mooring facilities for motorboats, car parks and two terraces on the lake.
The villa was built in 1700, by an hotelier: Leopoldo Casnedi, initially as a hunting lodge. The Villa has not undergone great transformations over the centuries, with the exception of the terrace, which has been recently enclosed by a veranda. If you would like to start your banquet with something special, you could astound your guests by starting off with an aperitif in the impressive "Prato dolce", a lawn next to the Tower built on the rocks right on the lake; you could also consider going their via the lake with our motorboat. The service is undertaken by qualified staff in sufficient numbers according to the number of guests, and provides for a constant presence in the dining areas as well as individual attention for your guests who are on a special diet or need certain variations of ingredients due to food intolerance.
