LOCATION
Villa Orlando was built in 1869 in the new-gothic style. It is a hunting lodge on the bank of the Lake Massaciuccoli, or Puccini’s Lake.
DESCRIPTION
The Villa is a severe building with a square plan and the insertion of a 25 meters tall tower with merlons in the south west corner. The Villa has three floors and the vaults underneath. From the top of the tower you enjoy a commanding view over the lake, the surrounding landscape and the mountains.
The surrounding property is about 40,000 square meters, mainly covered by pine trees and oaks. It includes 150 meters of private lake front and the boat house.
WEDDINGS
The Villa allows several possibilities to celebrate weddings, either in the park around it, on the lakeshore or, in case of rain, inside the Villa, in the Old Stables or under the permanent gazebo in the garden.
At the Villa there are several intimate corners where to stage the different moments of your ceremony, to share the magic of the park and lakeside promenade with your close friends and family. From the romantic boathouse on the lake to the secret garden near the Old Stables, hidden beautiful corners are waiting to be discovered by yourself and your guests, to give a warm and personable setting to your special day.
The setting of the different moments of the ceremony and party can be decided with the couple basing on own’s ideas and wishes.
Thanks to the agreement with the nearest Town Hall, at the Villa you can also celebrate your Civil Wedding Ceremony.
The ceremony and the reception will therefore be held in the same place, adding a touch of magic to your special day.
