If we say “Sicily” then what do you think about?
It's not easy to describe this region in a few words, because of its great heritage of historical, cultural and natural riches: suffice it to say that in the South-Eastern area there are many villages that are enlisted in the Unesco world heritage.
Noto is among these: it is know as the capital city of baroque architecture, and besides churches and mansions it holds a gem yet undiscovered, a place where you can breath the authentic Sicilian essence: DIMORA DELLE BALZE.
At the beginning this old farm, dating from 1800, was bought by Elena Lops -a set design- and her husband to become the second residence of the family, the place where to escape and relax. All the spaces were restored with a carefully attention to preserve the original elements as the Renaissance paintings, the Greco-Roman columns and the ancient ceilings which have been mixed with new elements that fit well in the environment around. Lights, decors, furnitures and drapes: nothis has been left to chance in this long-term restoring work which took eight years and was supervised by important designers.
The result of this huge job is simply fantastic, a real triumph of Sicilian colour, material and shapes.
At the entrance you find yourself in a first Court that can host up to 150 people; then there is a second court, which can bring together between 100 and 180 guests. After these two courts there is the "Giardino Padronale", an enclosed garden ideal to collect from 50 to 100 people.
Even the space around the beautiful swimming pool can become a lounge area which can welcome 300 people, as well as the “Limonaia”, a lemon house of 350 square meters with the capacity of 210 people, that can be used as an outdoor but covered room.
An internal catering will be able to offer you a wide range of food, from the tipical regional dishes to a more international cuisine, to satisfy every taste.
This enchanting venue is licensed to hold both Civil and Protestant ceremony on site, besides the Symbolic one.
Dimora delle Balze can also provide accommodations, since it has 12 rooms situated around three courtyards, many of them with terraces overlooking the 60-acre estate's gardens and citrus groves (14 of which are still used for organic farming used to prepare the breakfast).
Recently this stunning venue hosted the amazing celebrations for the wedding of the famous blogger and influencer Chiara Ferragni who got married to the singer Fedez. It was a stunning wedding it's been all over the magazines and news!
