Suitable for twelve guests and two children, the historic Villa boasts a ballroom, period frescoes, exquisite furnishings, a Michelin awarded chef and butler service.This venue stands at the end of a great driveway of ancient cypresses. It is built around a courtyard and is surrounded by gardens and olive groves. Next to the Villa is the Cedar Garden, a sweeping lawn enclosed by high hedges and ancient trees, embellished by antique rose bushes and pietra serena pedestals bearing potted lemon trees, and a 300 year old Lebanese cedar.
The “Baldacchino Suite”, also on ground level, is distinctive for the richness of this furnishings and decorations, with a great canopied bed and an entirely frescoed bathroom with fireplace.
On the upper floor are five suites, each of them embellished with original furnishings, decorated ceilings and large windows opening onto a striking unforgettable landscape.
WEDDINGS
The Villa is built on several floors according to the layout typical of aristocratic villas. On the ground floor is the Sala delle Feste, a ballroom which is a fine example of 18th century country-residential architecture, leads onto by spacious living room with frescoed walls, and a welcoming study and a comfortable dining room.
The Villa is available to hire for special occasions and events in Florence. The villa makes for a regal setting for wedding receptions, private functions, sumptuous parties and memorable corporate functions. The entire ground level (400m²) and surrounding gardens (1000m²) of the historic villa can cater for up to a thousand standing guests and four hundred seated guests.
