Villa Mangiacane Estate covers 306 hectares situated between San Casciano Val Di Pesa and Greve in Chianti, at an altitude of 250-300 meters. Of the 43 hectares of vineyards, 15 were planted in the 1980's with 3500 plants/hectare, and 28 were replanted after 2001 with 5500. Villa Mangiacane produces mainly Chianti Classico DOCG wines, but also produces IGT wines (typical geographical indication). Olive Groves, renowned for its distinguished peppery notes made from hand-picked Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino, and Pendolino olives.
